Vista 32 - ATI HD 3850 AGP - AMD X2 - Nvidia 3

with this configuration:
O.S.: Microsoft® Windows Vista" Business 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001
Motherboard: ASROCK AM2NF3-VSTA
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. P2.60, 14/04/2008
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+, 2435 Mhz, 2 core, 2 processori logici

The system doesn't recognize this graphic card:
SAPPHIRE HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 AGP

The only way to fix this that I found after many searches and drivers tests is to disable one of the 2 core of the Athlon.

I'm searching for a better solution.
Any ideas?
