  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Advice On Hardware For Video Editing / Gaming Computer

Experts, I need some help selecting some solid hardware for a new PC to do video editing and gaming. I normally buy my parts from NewEgg.com but in this case I'd like to get a little more advanced. I would like to setup a RAID 0 SATA and have at least 1TB possibly 2TB of space. I'd also like to bridge two graphics cards together, but wanted some advice here. Also, not 100% on the processor. Would like to stick with Intel, but that is just my preference.

What I'm looking for is advice on the motherboard, good memory, whether to go on-board RAID or get a RAID controller card, and advice on the graphics cards. This is mainly a work computer (how I'll justify the expense) but I do like to game, so setting up a killer system for that is always a plus. I will be running a 30" monitor, so two DVIs is needed.
