can you use 2 pci-e with out crossfirex or sli just for 3 monitors in windows
My new motherboard has 3 * pci-e 16 slots I am wondering if I can put my old pci-e graphics card for the 3rd monitor as my new pci-e 16 graphics card has dual dvi-i for the other 2 monitors
will that be a problem or not it has a pci-e that I am using a pci-e x1 sata controller for my dvd burners
the two video card do they have to match controller for vista or not can I use any

Thantos, that's not true. Only when using SLI do the cards need to be identical, Crossfire can use different cards(as long as both are crossfire capable), and for multiple monitors there is no need for identical cards. The only stipulation in Vista(and 7) is that they use a unified driver. I have configured alot of systems to support 4-6 monitors and usually a high to mid end card for the main and cheaper ones for the other monitors and have never had a problem.

Yes you can use multiple video cards without using crossfire or sli. With vista all the cards have to use the same driver, so you wont be able to mix ati and nvidia cards and you if the other card is older it may not work but this proabably won't be a problem if both are pci-e and from the same gpu manufacture.
