What do you mean "after reset the Bios" ? Have you upgraded the firmware? Or have you done a "reset to defaults"? Or a jumper reset?
I'd try to reset the BIOS again using the jumper on the motherboard.
f you have upgraded the firmware, just say so and we'll try to rewrite with a working one.

I have take out the jumper beside the battery for a while and afterwards put it again in the motherboard.

If that doesnt work, what else would you suggest?

PS/2 keyboard, not USB.
Well if u have the USB , my suggestion would be to get a (PS/2 to USB adapter) and use the USB ports to drive the keyboard and or mouse  or both.. Because after trying the switching of the keyboard and mouse and it doesn`t work still the slots might be faulty..  SO go get a PS/2 to USB adapter and you shoudl be good to go..
the usb drivers have not been loaded after clearing the CMOS. And I cannot load them until I deal with the checksum error, which I cannot do with a keyboard.

But thanks, I appreciate your time.
hi karen green here again,  let me do some researching on this for u , but honestly i never heard of this technique not working ;).. no worries after all u are at expertsexchange..

later...
thanks Greenel,

I got 400 point riding here:

If the system is not up and running by Monday morning, the motherboard will be returned.

Hi karen, sorry for the late reply,  if u haven`t carried the board back yet here is some things that i can tell you that might get u started... firstly I haven`t found anything in regard to the mouse and keyboard not working after what i told u to try so we goin back to the old ways... thats if u haven`t tried the following... If u have all your cards in e.g modem, sound card, v-card , usb card etc. what i want u to do is remove everything except the video card now with mouse and keyboard still in,  reboot your system, it might be some kind of irq error thats preventing the board from seeing the mice & keyboard ..

If this still doesn`t work u might have a faulty board and like you said its would be a good idea to take it back.. You shouldn`t be having so many problems with a motherboard thats working..

let me know what happened...
Paid $13.00 to ship the board back today.

Now there is a 5-10 day wait for them to test it before trying to repair it or replace it.

I appreciate your help.
