Browse All TopicsHello all,
I recently purchased a new box with the following specs (it's been with me for a week):
Asus A7V8X-X mobo
Enermax 460W PS
AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (with Ttake Volcano 11 fan)
512MB DDR Memory
Seagate 40Gb HD
HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon 9200 128MB DDR 8x AGP
WinXP Pro SP1
Here's the problem, I just had the chance to install my games yesterday (WC3, Jedi Academy) and everytime I reach the 'main screen' of these games, my PC hangs (the intros or movies can be viewed fine). Then when I reboot, I get this message that the Radeon 9200 drivers I installed have a problem. But these drivers are the latest from ATI. I tried re-installing the games AND the vid card drivers but I still experience the same problem. I don't know what to do. Could it be my mobo? Do I have to install new drivers for it? Or is there some setting in the BIOS I have to adjust (like the AGP apperture size)? If so, how can I do this? I hope you guys can help me...I'm in the dark here.
