Its a hard drive problem. During the power on process, place your ear close to the hard drive. Can you hear any cracking or clicking sounds. If so you may need to change to new drive.
Best way to determine the problem is by using a different drive to boot and remove the original drive. You can borrow hdd from someone you know if they have any spare drive.
