Well this question should be a simple one and it shouldn't be a hard one. The cost of RAM has gone up slightly, but still thinking about adding another 512MB to make a total of 1GB. The type of memory I have is slightly difficult to find at a good price. I have Kingston HyperX 3200 512MB kit in a Dual DDR configuration. The memory is CAS2 and it works great, no trouble. I'm not sure that I could use another brand, such as Corsair with CAS2 speed instead of trying to find the same one I have now. I'm sort of looking at price and performance. I'm a little troubled about using another brand to increase my RAM and if any stability issues with using another brand. I have all the latest BIOS updates and drivers including critical updates. I have a good knowledge of PC's and built several computers including some PC modding. Well I just want some assurance and responses from everyone. I'll let the question be open for 2-3 days before awarding the points. The question is simply this, "Can I use a different brand (Corsair or etc...) with the memory I have now without sacrificing preformance?"
