Are you referring to the F12 menu function key? If so, this allows you to go to the temporary start-up. I've tried this but it does not resolve the problem permenantly.

Browse All TopicsHi Experts. I have somehow picked up a problem on my bios where by the boot sequence on startup is not right. I have been into the bios and can't find the boot sequence option in the startup settings to allow me to alter this.
When I boot up, it does not switch to my HD after scanning the stiffy drve, and displays error "non system disk or disk error." Any sugestions on how to change boot sequence on IBM machine?
Thanx in advance.
