Microphone Problem

I am running a brand new HP Pavilion T860a computer with an AsusTek PTGD1-LA motherboard with an intergrated 8-Channel Azalia audio sound card with front and rear microphone jacks, and using the very latest RealTek sound drivers .

My problem is that when I try internet telephony using Skype, I can hear the other person perfectly, BUT THEY CANNOT HEAR ME AT ALL.

Other than that, the sound system works perfectly.

I have read and followed all the advice on both the HP and Skype websites but all to no avail.

I can record my voice using the windows recorder and play it back perfectly. I have also made sure that my mic is not muted.

It is interesting to note that when I disable the onboard sound card and add the Creative sound card from my old computer, the Skype program works perfectly.
