I suspect heat as a proplem since gaming does invoke heavy processor and video use. I would reinstall the CPU heat sink, make sure that thermal grease is spread evenly with no air gaps. Check the fans, including video and make sure they are all spinning. Move other PCI cards away from video card. Check power supply, should be at least a 350 watt.

and download the windows memory diagnostic.
Use the program to create the floppy or CD version of the diagnostic, boot to the floppy or CD you create. The test will run until you stop it. Let it run through a good 5 or 6 times. If the system shuts down, you have some type of a hardware problem (not necessarily memnor), if the diagnostic shows errors, you have a problem with the memory.
