As noted above, most motherboards have a "CMOS Clear" jumper; or you can simply remove the CMOS battery (round, quarter-sized silver battery on the motherboard) for a few minutes (with the computer unplugged).
If you aren't sure about how to do this, post the make & model of your motherboard and we can give you specific instructions.
By the way, the advanced chipset features should not be changed unless you have a very good knowledge of exactly what you are changing and why you are changing it. This is not an area you should "experiment" with. In your case, increasing the FSB was almost certainly what caused the main issue.

There is a jumper to clear the the cmos, you might try removing the battery for half an hour, that may do it.
