Video Cards, Call of Duty 2 and Games in General

The kid wants to buy a video card that plays Call of Duty 2 better than the builtin Radeon Xpress 200 he is using now. I'm pretty sure the Radeon X800 and above will do the job. But I'm pretty sure something less would do also. I'm finding it difficult to research this question for some reason.

So anybody have advice? Which video cards are better for games than the Radeon Xpress 200? I'm hoping for something in the $150 range - about half the cost I've seen for the X800.Start Free Trial
