I have just re-installed windows xp home on my acer t120e desktop. Alas i dont have the manufacturers driver disk so i have downloaded the drivers i need from their website. This all fine except that in systems properties the VGA controller still shows as having no drivers installed. The mobo is a GA-7S741M, however Gigabyte dont seem to recognise this model on their website....perhaps its is a model made only for Acer.
This board has the sis 964l chipset so i have tried various sis chipset drivers which i believe should have worked, but have not. ie ver 116, 117, 121
Am i missing something ??
Please help.
P.s Just to clarify, i am using the on-board graphics

listen, i cannot not know where you got those drivers if you do not post the url, crystal balls are not yet an option here (wish they were) :-)
first, tell us for what OS - you did not tell that either
then, you can try running Everest to identify the video card, then we can look for another driver for you.
here the link for Everest : http://www.majorgeeks.com/
