APC Smart UPS 5000XL message Severe - System: Warmstart

What is System: Warmstart and what is the next step for me to repair it?  The unit is 4 years old and protects all my servers.  I believe it may be a fault with the APC management card or possibly batteries but the system is showing all green lights.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

The internal controller card detected an error. Try a coldstart, including removing the batteries.
If the problem persists, the controller board may need replacement.
