HP Pavillion dv2000 XP drivers

I cant get sound on windows XP to work on this laptop I cant find a driver that works I have try some drivers but none of then work.


this laptop come with vista but I hate vista.

service tag is dv2415us

Download  Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp33566) from the following link then install it:

and download Conexant High Definition Audio Driver from the following link then install it:

I have tried both of those Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio and i get preparing set up then the setup GUI disappears from screen and it's not even running a Windows  task manager.

I have try this from safe mode and same problem.

Sounds like the chipset driver needs to be installed first
Mobile Intel 945PM Express chipset
install this driver first , then the MSUAA, then the Conexant driver

Same problem after chipset i never seen a problem like this i have try everything

I found a driver that work with it the trick was to download everest and found out what the audio device was call then look for driver on the web.
