dell montor power cord

i was given this really cool dell monitor, but the person did not have a power cord. how do I get one or something that will work it is cool but really want to use it. please help :)

What model?  You can probably get one from Dell.com, or perhaps eBay.

What's the Model # of the monitor?  

You can always get those things at any store or the internet.

It should be standard power cord that you can buy from any electronics store.

did u see the power connector at the back of the monitor .. is it different then the one on ur system .. generally all power cords are similar to the tower or monitor

how is the power connected? with a round connector? then it uses a power adapter; if not, any power cord will do.
if it uses a power adapter, check what it says; could be something like 15 V - 4 A
