The Solution Rating System

PC Won't boot up at all.One 7 second beep then silence then another 7 second beep-please help

My Bit Defender told me I had a trojan which it couldn't get rid of.I now can't boot up the machine at all and it won't recognise the start up cd's.I'm a bit of a novice when it get's to this stage of PC's but have tried all the usual keystrokes but with no joy to get into the bios.It als won't recognise the floppy as I thought this might be  a way in.I was lucky enough(probably by sheer chance) to get back into the machine once in 1000 tries but when I tried to back up crucial data it froze again!
I've noticed there is another chap on here with exactly the same beep tone but would be surprised if it's ram related as I've never had any issues with the machine before this damn trojan.
That particular beep I have described doesn't seem to be recognised in any codes either.
