try installing driver magician - www.drivermagician.com, install it and then use 'try now' (unless you want to buy it). Then once its open go Tools>Detect Unknown devices. This will list the make and model of the unknown devices for you, google these for the correct drivers.
or try aida32 - http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/AIDA-Download-6969.html.   very indepth spec generator that can give you the same details, google them for the drivers.

There is a FREE program called Unknown Drivers that you can download and run. It will tell you what the unknown drivers are.

There is the link. Go down to the bottom of the page to download.

If I'm understanding right, the problem is that you need Server drivers and can only find XP.  In the case where Server drivers are not available, the XP drivers should work.

Dell has pages for three different versions of the dc7800.  Here are the links to the driver pages.  Just see which one is the same as your computer, and all of the drivers should be there.

We are having the same problem.
The Unknown Device turned out to be one of the drivers in the security section. Think it was the Drive Encryption for HP ProtectTools.
We still need drivers for the PCI serial and PCI device.

The Serial Port and the Unknown device will be part of the Motherboard chipset drivers. Look on your motherboard for the model # and search using Google for drivers or on the motherboard manufacturing site. Sometimes its just on the Intel site depending on which motherboard and chipset you have. Once you have obtained the motherboard chipset drivers and installed you will still need to know what modem MODEM you have for the PCI Simple Communications controller - this driver will be seperate and your modem should have a label on it with the model number. A search of the model number should lead you to the modem driver - try using the XP driver for Windows Server 2003. I sure hope this helps you.

Got the final one. it was the sound card. Try the Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Universal Audio Architecture Update (Q888111) on the HP driver page.

The Serial Port is likely the Intel Local Management Service (LMS) and Serial-over-LAN (SOL) support for Intel Active Management Technology (AMT).  Download the package labeled "Intel AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 3.0" under the "Software - System Management" section on HP's website for the dc7800.  The Unknown Device is likely the Drive Encryption for HP Protect Tools.  You may need to install the HP ProtectTools Security Manager Suite first.
