powering a power supply

I've setup a frankenstein system to troubleshoot a dead drive.
My running system only has one sata power connector - but I have another power supply that has one as well.
How can I run that p/s solo and just use the sata power? Can I short some pins on it to get it to come on?Start Free Trial
