Browse All TopicsI have two Dell Optiplex GX280's that are giving me the same CMOS beep code: 1-3-1-1. Dell's site and others say to reseat the memory. I have tried reseating the memory and different memory, yet still get the beep code.

What are the errors lights in the back? You should see ABCD on the back. Let us know what colors they are (green or amber).

What problems are you having with them now? Is there any video? If not, try using another video card to see if it helps. Otherwise, check the motherboard and see if there are any blown out capacitors.
