Dell Optiplex GX620 with dual monitors

I have a dell optiplex gx620. It has a built in vga and I added a dvi card. I want to use dual monitors. Since I installed the dvi card the vga is disabled. Can you enable both at the same time? Will this work?

So i will need a Y-connector and only use the dvi correct?

I believe that would work. That is the process I use here from time to time.
