  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How can I make my PC boot to CD, instead of HDD?

I  am trying to boot from a live cd.  I set BIOS to boot from CD.  I triple checked.  It is correct.  PC has booted to CD many times before.  I am running XP,  SP3.  Now that I really need it to boot from live CD, it refuses to do so and insists on booting from HD.  I have tried CDs that boot on other PCs.

Can an expert tell me what could possibly be wrong and more importantly, how do I fix this issue and make it boot fr4om CD?
