how do i dignose my Pc for virus or spyware

Tags: Microsoft, Window Xp, Sp 2, Fortigate firewall

I have Pc of windows Xp pro Sp2, when i connect my Pc to Lan, other 10 Computer's net become very slow.if I disconnect my Pc from Lan n internet is normal. I already deleted all  partition, formated the Pc and thorughly scanned the data with symantec client antivirus and avast antivirus 4.8 home.
Same data is copied and using in other Pc connected to Lan and working fine.
what may be the issue with my Pc, any virus or spyware.Please help.
