Respected All,
Hi There! Apoorva is back here with another query! Off lately, I have been experiencing extremely strange issues with my NVIDIA External Display Card and Intel Onboard Graphics card.
It goes like this:
Before turning on my computer, I plugged in the VGA cable of CRT Monitor into Nvidia Display Cards VGA port and turn on the computer. The monitor does get power but the Power light keeps blinking and is green in colour but there is no display. Therefore, I have to unplug the VGA cable (while the system is still turned ON) from Nvidia Graphics Card port and plug it into Intel Onboard Graphics Card and the display is back and I can see my Windows Desktop. Exactly Vice Versa happens if I Turn ON my computer with the VGA cable connected to Onboard Intel display and in this case, the same procedure to be followed again: Unplug VGA cable from Onboard and plug it into the Nvidia Graphics Cards VGA port (While the system is turned ON) and the display is back, I can see the Windows desktop. This shows that both the Onboard and External Nvidia Graphics Card works well, Monitor also receives power but blank display and in the background, system is still being processing and reaches the Windows Desktop. Only issue out here is the swapping of VGA cable from one display port to another. In BIOS, I can see PCIE selected.
Therefore, could anybody kindly assist me with what exactly is going on here?
