I've done that multiple times, and it hasn't changed anything.

I bought a new hard drive and reinstalled everything, but for some reason I can seem to get HD signal from my graphics card anymore. I have a XFX GTS 250, with dual DVI link, and a Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR9 HDTV as a monitor. When I use my HDTV's vga port I'm able to get a picture, but whenever I set the TV to its native resolution 1920x1080 the picture on the TV goes blank and I get "unsupported signal", also when I use my dvi-hdmi cable from my graphics card to the TV, my PC can't detect the TV, and I'm not able to set up multiple monitors.
Anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

Let's make sure you are doing this right - when you set the resolution, you are doing it on the video card, NOT the HDTV, right? The HDTV will just try to display whatever resolution the video card is outputting. If the HDTV won't take a known HDTV resolution (1920x1080), then it could be the video card or the HDTV. Try a different card that can output 1920x1080, to isolate whether it is the card or the HDTV that is broken. It is also possible that both are broken, but we don't know at this point.

The death of the hard drive - was it caused by a power surge or something that could have affected the graphics card too? If not, then I'd not be too worried - possibly it's just a case of the lastest drives for your card hasn't been properly installed. Try downloading the lastest ones from the website and installing them.
