Hi,

At work we have 2 notebooks model notebooks.

HP Compaq 6910P and HP Elitebook 6930P.

The problem is when connecting the an external monitor or Projector via the RGB VGA Port is fine. When I press Fn + F4 to switch to dual mode (as opposed to extend display to secondary display) the resolution on the primary screen (ie, laptop LCD display) is changed to 800x600.

I've tried checking all the video driver settings (which is an ATI) and upgrading to the latest drivers. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Richard
