Some of the mobile projectors allow for plugging in USB memory sticks and/or iPods that will display a slideshow of images (much like viewing a PowerPoint turned into a PDF). Some will even play videos off an iPod. So, how your PowerPoint gets displayed will depend on the type of projector.
Some that you can search for:
InFocus LP600 DLP Projector
Hitachi CP-X series Projectors
Epson EMP-1715 Projector
ViewSonic PJ358 Ultra-Portable Projector PJ358
ASK Proxima® C170
But buyer beware on these type products: http://www.ltrc.mcmaster.c
To find others, go to www.google.com or www.ask.com and search on keywords like mobile projector, portable projector, projector PC less, projector iPod, projector PC free, projector liteport
Once you find one that you're interested in getting, see if you can find a review on it before purchasing.
I, personally, prefer InFocus projectors. But I believe the smartest thing for you to do, especially if you plan to buy several, is get in contact with the vendors and see if you can get a demo or test drive of any that you might purchase.

There are no projectors that can run powerpoint on their own as PP is an application that is run on a windows OS platform. This requires a computer to run. There are no projectors with an integrated OS.
There are projectors that have integrated DVD players, which may allow you to have a Powerpoint presentation turned into a DVD movie and played in that manner, but they are lower in lumens usually in the 1000- 1500 range. This is porbably not acceptable
