The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

22-24 inch monitor help

Tags: lcd, low input lag, no ghosting, good viewing angles and color reproduction and warranty
I am looking for a 22-24 inch lcd monitor with the lowest input lag for FPS's (must also be XHD compliant).  I would like to have a wide veiwing angle and wide color gamut as well and no ghosting. But I think in the end the "input lag" is most important and will make the most difference in a game.  I have read and read forums and reviews on anything I can get my hands on and have become very knowledgeable on the panel types, input lag and ghosting etc.  FYI: when I read these forums and reviews I keep getting the feeling that the companies that sale these products are putting in there own 2 cents and screwing up honest customer reviews. I have also visited a lot of stores and the people that work in them are not nearly as educated as I have made myself on this in 3 weeks ( about 80+hrs). They look at me like I am speaking chinese when I start to mention input lag, S-PVA, S-IPS, TN, P-MVA etc.  With no-where to turn, I renewed my membership here after about a year away because in here someone always knew the answer.  Does anyone have knowledge in this area and would recommend a good gaming LCD.  My price range is around $1000.  I will be powering this with 2 8800gt's if that matters. Here is a link of what exactly I am talking about with imput lag. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi2OE6hSh00     and this one        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnvRZplyISg          I know LCD's will always have some lag but which good ones have the lowest and are very good monitors.  This is arguably the toughest product I've ever had to shop for.  Please Help!!!
