These aren't exactly fun jobs to do.
Can you give reason for doing this? There may be alternatives to what you are contemplating.
Usually the cables have plugs on the CRT ends where they plug into a board. And the cables are not usually interchangeable between different firms.

The problem is that the cable ( the CPU conector side ) has some kind of damage because the image is presented with two of the R,G,B colors, normally you have to move a little bit the cable in order to watch the image correctly.
¿Any other ideas?
Thanks

During the opening monitor operation I have noticed that the cable seems to be detachable (Oh lucky I am, I guess, ha), so I decided to upload a picture showing the internal connectors (just for documenting reasons) let me say that the monitor is a CRT Samsung 793V.
I´ll let you know if I could find the part.
Thanks

I have removed the VGA conector and I have found the wire producing the failure but I got a new problem:
¡The monitor now seems red, ha.!

Thanks guys.

It sounds like you have a short or a cut wire in the cable still.
Yep. Use a multimeter to check your connections.
the short comment: do as dbrunton said :) + dont be afraid of making all grounds (blue_rtrn, GRN_RTRN and RED_RTRN+others) in one wire..
long blah-blah follows:
To make it work, You need 1-red signal wire, 1-green signal wire or 1-blue signal wire (if you want to see normal colours, then You would have to take all of them in account), 1 ground wire (there are some manufacturers that makes a seperate ground for each signal wire and then also another ground :D :D there is no difference in practics (as far as I have experienced it :))) the both of the sync wires, and, if I remember correctly, both monitor IDs(0 most certainly, the #1 i cant remember) wires, because, if I am not mistaken (which is quite an often state for me :D :D :D, mostly not to my ignorance but takeance of thingies too unseriously :D :D that is to chiper that all :D) the #1 was used for some sort of signals (check wikipedia) for monitor to work I just conected one or two of these IDs (clock was not important, if, again I am not mistaken)..

Good luck.
