We have HP dc7600, 7700, 7800 PC's using a HP ADD2 SDVO DVI-D Adapter card to run dual monitors. Everything works great using the older L1740 HP Monitors, however, when trying to run dual monitors (extended Desktop) off the same system, the second monitor will not work when using 2 L1750 displays. It will work if using a 1740 and 1750 display. When going in the graphics properties and clicking extend my desktop the the second monitor, it just unchecks itself and the monitor says "going to sleep"
Even stranger, the BIOS and XP startup screen DO display on both monitors.
And to make things even better, our last purchase was the dc7900 ultra slim PC's that have an integrated display port and an integrated VGA port. Using a Display Port > DVI adapter gets the same results where it will work with the L1740 but not 2 L1750's.
Have tried different drivers with the same results. All PC Models have different integrated graphics but all are Intel.
And then to make it even more confusing, After I installed the HP Display assistant, and hooked everything up, it worked 1 time using 2 L1750's but after days of work, I have not been able to get it to work again by doing the same thing.
