Browse All TopicsI have a questions about dual monitors. I have a 15 inch monitor that willa ct as a primary but a 22 inch athat will be used for viewing images and such with a much higher resolution. Do the two screens have to match or can I make this work. the reason ia sk is space is a concern.

I have tried and tested multiple configurations of 15, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 24" monitors (flat and CRT mixed) and have never had any issues.
I assume you're using Windows and yes it will work, assuming your video card supports multiple outputs and you have the right DVI/VGA cables/adapters/inputs on your monitors/graphics card (should have come supplied with your monitors/video card).
In Windows XP (Vista is similar) to enable your 2nd monitor, right-click on your desktop > Properties > Settings > Select 2nd Monitor > Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor.

Assuming you are using a Windows OS, this should work fine. The OS manages each monitors resolution independently.
