Bad connector on the laptop

Browse All TopicsI have a Toshiba Satellite A65-S1062 and when we turn on the extended desktop feature the second monitor has a green tint. We have changed cables and monitors and still have the same result:
XP Pro SP3
1.2 GB ram
ATI Radeon 7000 IGP video card

Does the monitor behave itself with the same cable on another machine?
If so the fault is likely to be with the VGA connector on the laptop.
It's worth trying a further change of cable particularly if you have been trying the thinner unshielded VGA cables.
Also check there is no electrical interference near the video cable.
