If the screws are loose you could tie some white tape used for plumbing on the screw and tighten it up.<br />

What make and model laptop are we dealing with here?<br />

Did there used to be jack screws on either side of the port to secure VGA cable thumb screws to?<br />
<br />
If these just became loose and got lost, you could replace them. &nbsp;It's possible from repeatedly attaching and detaching the VGA cable, they could come loos and get lost.<br />
