How do I use/activate the "Shortcut Keys" on a Dell P2210 monitor?

I have a Dell P2210 at work.  It has "Shortcut Keys" on the On Screen Menu.  There are several options that can be assigned.  I want to be able to change the Input Source.  I have that select for Shortcut Key 1.

What keyboard combination is the "Shortcut Key"?  Or does this just work with Dell keyboards with special keys?

I am using the DVI for my first input source and will be adding a VGA source if I can get this figured out.

Note:  I do have the monitor connected to the PC via USB.

I did find this documentation but its not complete...

The first and the second button from the TOP are the shortcut keys. They cannot be used by any keboard.

The shorcut here referes to a function as below:
You can use any of the 4 available modes and assign that mode to the shortkey 1 and 2. Doing so, you will be able to access that function "by press of a key" and need not go through the entire OSD menu.

First, thanks for the response Moby2579.

"The first and the second button from the TOP are the shortcut keys. "  Are you referring to the JPG in your post or  something else?  A Dell keyboard perhaps?  I need to know if I can assign those to a key or key combination on my keyboard.

"They cannot be used by any keboard. ".  I just want to make sure I am reading this correctly...So I cannot use my Microsoft Natural 4000 to execute the shortcuts?

Thanks,
B

Ahh!  (light bulb just went on...)

Thank you.  Sorry.  I had made a wild dreamy assumption that I could change the Input Source similar to how a KVM works.  Like hitting the scroll key twice or something.

Thanks for the clarification.
