I am creating a webserver for LPC2368 with lwIP. I need load a dynamic web page. I want to know how to load variable strings and data using CGI or any other means.

I am developing a webserver for an embedded system using LPC 2368 and lwIP. Basic webserver is working, I have tested it by putting a constant HTML file. Now, I need to load a dynamic web page with a table in which strings vary according to my variables in system. I want to know how to do this. I tried CGI script like, <b><!--#exec cgi="Function"--></b> and I have written the function to return 2 characters for "Function" called. But it is not putting those characters, it is just blank.
