The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. E-mails are not sent to the blackberry device

Hi,

I recently bought a Blackberry 8100 device and want my mails to be sent to the device automatically.
I took a BES subscription with our provider BASE.

I installed Blackberry Professional Software on our SBS 2003 server with Exchange 2003 SP2.
After some searching I found out that I had to add the user and received a PIN after connecting the device with my desktop through USB the was recognized.

The calendar gets synchronized but I want the emails to be pushed to the device through the EDGE connection of course.

When I open the Blackberry manager on the SBS Server, the HOME screen shows following data

Expired Messages:  0
Messages Failed:  0

There's only 1 user in the users tab
SOftware configuration is empty and the connection service tab shows

What am I missing here? Is there a problem with my configuration?
I followed the exact instructions that I found in the getting started guide.
