blackberry can't hold all the users calendars (which is fine) but deletes them from outlook when syncing..

blackberry uses blackberry desktop manager to sync to outlook. the thing obviously can't hold 5 years worth of calendars, and that is fine, but when it syncs to outlook it deletes it there as well, and we want the old calendars to be able to stay in outlook. what can we do to make this happen?
