We have setup some CONTACTS in AD so that we can forward internal emails to these external accounts. However I found that recently not all emails had been forwarded - some did go through but not all. Strange.
The reason we use Contacts is that we had some Blackberry users who need to get emails on the road. WE are not using BB Enterprise Server so the way we set it up was create a Contact in AD for each user and forward them all their (both internal & external) emails. I am able to log onto their "Forwarded" email (webmail) to check if an email has been delivered. It has been working fine for 8 months but only recently I found that some emails are missing on their BB.
I tested it on two users and the results are weird. On User1 4 of his 5 emails gone through; on User2, 5 of his 10 gone through. So it is kind of working but surely there is something wrong. It is anything to do with the BB device because emails had not been delivered to the destination address.
Can anyone offer any help?
