Upgrade BES 4.0.7.16
Trying to upgrade bes 4.07.16 to 4.1 Seems everything i try it says its the wrong system. Any ideas. We cany open pdf's on our storms and world editions and it seems you need 4.1 even though they open sometimes.

As you have BES 4.0 you can upgrade to BlackBerry Professional for free but you will have to pay an upgrade fee for BlackBerry Enterprise 4.1 (or BES 5 when it is released in a few more months). Also when you run upgrade on your BES you must ensure you are using the correct installer. As an example besx_4.1.6.exe is a full install package and besx_upgrader_4.1.6.exe is an update for existing BES 4.1 server.

Without the exact errors you are getting this going to be hard to troubleshoot. But here is what you want to follow to do the upgrade, actually what you want to do is a knife edge cutover.
