You might have to rip the battery out of your BB and let it reboot to see the change.

Browse All TopicsHow do I convert a .rem file to an mp3 format. One of my VP's has about 10 ringtones that he purchased for his blackberry bold and we just converted him over to an iPhone. I was able to convert / create ringtones from all his mp3 files for his iphone, but there are several files that were originally m4a files but got a "rem" extension put on them and I can not seem to find a way to convert them.
Any apps or ideas?

That's because you have your media card encrypted.
Options > Media Card > Encryption Mode = None
would fix it. When you go to get them they will be their original format.
