palm/outlook syncing with tasks versus to-do list

I'm syncing my palm centro with Outlook on multiple PC's and laptops.  One of my PC's displays both "Tasks" and "To-do list" and seems to sync with both, but the two don't always come out agreeing.  On other machines, the centro syncs only with "Tasks" or only with "To-do List".  How can I control the sync on my machines to always make the same choice of Tasks or To-do Lists.  Is there some better way to make sure my Task lists stay consistent?
