I went to the Tecom site. I found this in the FAQ:
Q: What should I do when I saw the following messages. [The Widcomm Bluetooth Software feature you are trying to use has expired.] [Enter your name, company, and WIDCOMM Bluetooth for Windows licence key code in the fields below.]
A: Please install the latest driver. The latest driver please download via http://www.tecomproduct.co
Does this not answer your question? This took me 15 seconds to find.
If this does not answer your question, then tell me the model number of your dongle and I'll look at the FAQ for that product.

Setting the year back won't help you. A clean reinstall of your OS is a solution. This will erase the registry key(s) that the software marked the expiration.
I've searched for cracked versions but there's none, anyway...it would have been against Experts-Exchange rules to provide you a link to cracked software.
So, the solution is to reinstall, but after the trial period will expire, you'll have to reinstall again. Or you can clone the partition after everything installed ok and when the trial expires rebuilt from image (can use Norton Ghost or PowerQuest Drive Image for cloning). Anyway....what I told you is probably on the line for breaking EE rules.
