Browse All TopicsWhen I try to reply to a lotus notes email address (sent thru corporate BES), it fails. It seems it does not recognize the notes format, i.e. CN= xxxx/OU=/O= formats. is there a way to resolve this so that is looks like regular address, i.e. mail.address@company.com?
So far I can only read emails that are from within the company, but cannot reply.

Does the message show sent? Is there an error that you get? If you open a message that you have tried to send, what is the status (you may have to scroll up to see this)? I’m assuming that you are on the BES and that you can reply to users outside of your domain. Are you a new employee or has something happened to you domain account recently? Does the message address in the From field on the BlackBerry device displayed in canonical (hierarchical name) format (CN=username/O=organizatio n).
You may want to have a look at RIM KB article 03221.
Good luck -
