Application Development on handhelds

Hi,

We currently have an ADP (MS Access data project) system which talks to MS SQLServer.

We want simliar (though cut down) functionality sitting on a PDA... its basically a CRM app.

We haven't identifed what kind of PDA we will be purchasing yet.

Can someone draw a rough picture for me of where to start on this.

1. I assume there are a few OS's on PDA's. Am I right to assume that a windows based OS would make migrating an MS Access application easy?

2. Would the general idea be to migrate the MS Access app to a PDA then replicate the database as well, or would I better off developing somethng from the ground up to save me replicating a lot of redundant data?

Right now I'm just trying to work out where to start, and what development options I have.Start Free Trial
