Very simple application port to a mobile device - static HTML pages on a PDA

Hi we have an existing VB/MS Access App. We want to use some of its functions on a portable device. Knowing very little about PDA's, this is how it is going to work:

1. When the application is loaded with data in the morning, we also export a bunch of static HTML files
2. The user ActiveSyncs their PDA which automatically picks up these HTML files
3. The user can roam around with their PDA and search through the HTML files on their fantastic browser.

Of course its not an app, its more of a library that they can search on.

This is for an in house CRM application.

Thats it roughly. Can anyone tell me if any of my assumptions are incorrect?
