Question

error loading my Operative System (Lineo's Embedix Embedded Linux con kernel 2.4.x ) in my Zaurus SL-5000

Dear  Experts,

 I have a Zaurus  SL-5000   CPU 206MHz Intel SA-1110 StrongARM system-on-chip processor  and my OS is  Lineo's Embedix Embedded Linux con kernel 2.4.x ,   my Zaurus has the status  "please wait"   loading the OS  but it not work.  This status is hanging im waiting and waiting ..the system is died.

What can I do to repair my OS ,  is possible install Kubuntu in my zaurus?,   How?

It's not possible to install Kubuntu or other Linux Distros. Because the architecture is different. But; probably you can reset your device to the factory settings. Also, if there is a CD with your device; maybe, it could be possible to re-install everything from this CD.

well my Zaurus is of "second hand" ,  I dont have any CD .   I have the  pushed the reset botton and is the same the status loading the OS  is  "please wait"  forever,   ....  

is possible load the OS from my SD ?.... what can I do? ,

any idea?  my best regards,

well how I can copy anything or reinstall anything from my pc to the zaurus if I can't see anything in the zaurus?,  :(

Please read this wiki carefully. You do not need your zaurus working or not.

Just only a CF Card and the needed files on it to boot from this website. Then; of course, following the instructions at this wiki page. Probably, it will save your zaurus.
