Browse All TopicsI have a user with a Nokia E90 that he uses to access the Web and then access our Outlook WebAccess. All is fine when viewing messages, calendar etc and he can open Word and Excel attachments by simply clicking on the attachments when viewing the message.
However if he is sent a message with a PDF attachment and he tries to click on it he gets a "Script Alert" which basically says he cannot open the attachment until it is saved to disk. The problem is that the Save menu (normally a right click on a PC) is normally activated on a E90 by holding down the mouse button for a few seconds. When you do this on a PDF attachment link instead of getting a WebAccess menu you get the Nokia's URL bookmarks list so there does not appear to be anyway to save the PDF.
So the questions are:
1) Is there a way to automatically get the E90 to open the PDF documents that is contained as an attachment to an email message within OWA?
2) If not, is there a way to get the save menu to allow the attachment to be saved and then opened manually by the built in PDf viewer.
I appreciate a lot of people may be readig this and thinking why don't they sync the phone or use Mail4Exchange or RoadSync etc but there is a particular reason behind this request.

On the login page of OWA there are 2 options: Public Computer or Private Computer. If you click private computer before logging in, you will be able to open the PDF files. Need to make sure that he has something installed on his phone that will allow him to read PDFs too!
Cheers,
