More than likely, either your basis mail store has gotten corrupted or you're running out of available memory.
Before you do anything else, I would
A. Clear all your caches (browser, mail attachment, Bing, Google Maps, Google Mail, etc.).
B. Move everything that is a data file (documents, notes, etc.) to non-main memory (like a storage card, if you can)
1. Try deleting all mail accounts, then setting them back up.
2. If that doesn't work, then I would try a soft reset.
3. If you have a recent backup, try to go back to that.
If nothing else works, and this really is a last resort, do a hard reset. Please note that this WILL return your device back to fatory settings and it will clear all data stored in main memory.
