Yeah Ive looked and done some googling about it as well.
Its a pretty popular phone so was hoping someone was more familiar with it than me. Seeing I cant find any option like you suggested it may not be possible.

I have my Nokia E71 receiving emails from my Exchange server using nokias "mail for exchange" program.
The only thing that doesnt work is if I delete an email on the phone it doesnt delete off the server. I have to open my outlook and delete it again.
Any ideas how I can fix this?

Have you verified the devices software settings are capable of this? Check the "Options" or "Settings" for the software for an option to enable/disable deleting messages in the mailbox.
