Linksys Locks Up Computer

I have a dell laptop and I use to use a dell wireless card. I upgraded to a linksys card. I installed software and all that and it was working fine then it stopped. And when ever I try to startup the computer with the card in the pcmcia slot it locks up on the windows xp startup page. if I put it in while windows is running it locks the whole copmputer up.
